I have been responsible for looking after the computers in the office for a while now and have decided that rather than just repairing them when faults occur, that I should run some PC diagnostics on them every so often, just to make sure that everything is okay. I have been trying to get the funding for this for a while now, the company is only small and so it is not easy for them to finance anything really.
With the economic situation, we, as employees, are trying not to push things either as we realise that if they spend money unnecessarily then we may end up causing the company to fall into trouble and if they go under we will all lose our jobs. I have looked into protech diagnostics as well and I have decided that it is probably better money wise, at this stage at least, to continue with what we are doing. I might try to do some checks on the computers myself if I get a chance but that will be about it now. When there is more money available, I will look into it again and hopefully find a good solution for us.
