My sons have just decided that they would like to be in a band. My husband is really pleased as he always wanted to be in a band as a child as he thought it would have made him more popular and so he wants them to learn an instrument. He is keen to get them some beginner electric guitars as soon as possible. I have asked him to be patient and wait and see what they actually like playing. They are allowed to try out different instruments at school and so I want them to take up this opportunity first and find out whether there is anything that they prefer first. I do not want to buy the guitars and the peavey amps that he is keen on them having until I am sure that they are going to use them more than just a few times. I am actually keener on getting some remo drumheads as I have always wanted to try them out but I am trying to stay neutral on this one. I am secretly hoping they decide it is all a bit too much like hard work as I think that I will get pretty annoyed with the noise!
