I am having great fun buying an outfit for an event I am going to. I have actually managed to be invited to a film première and it is so exciting. I want to look good but obviously cannot afford anything designer. I figure that if I get something plain and simple it will look good but I have also been looking for a few pieces of jewellery to go with it. I have a lot of cubic zirconia rings and I just do not think that cubic zirconia is the right thing for this occasion. I think something much bigger and bolder will be better and I have been looking at some of the cocktail rings that some of the celebrities wear when they go to such events. I am hoping that I can find a cheap one which could be mistaken to be expensive. I am pretty good at bargain shopping and as I have a very small budget for my whole outfit, I just hope that I can fool a few people and feel confident and appropriate in what I am wearing. It would also be nice to get something that I could wear again, but that might be hoping for just a bit too much!

Friday, June 4th, 2010I am always looking for healthy ways to lose weight. I have recently lost quite a lot of weight but I want to get a little bit more off. I do also want to make sure that I am eating healthily because I want to show a good example to my children. I do not want to starve myself or eat very small quantities of high calorie foods just because I like them. I want to eat enough food but have the right foods, containing the right nutrients. I have been looking into way of how to lose weight without dieting because I know that this is the only way to maintain weight loss. I have realised that if I eat healthy foods and manage my portion sizes all of the time then I should be able to remain at a healthy weight without worrying. I have decided to make sure that there is no unhealthy food in the house and then if I really want something like cakes, biscuits or sweets then just to buy a very small amount of them so that it is just enough to have a taste and that is it. I am also looking into my medical history to find out about the causes of Hypothyroidism to find out if what I am eating can help my condition as well.

Friday, June 4th, 2010If you are planning to go on a hike up in Boulder, Colorado or the Rockies, it is essential that you should pack well for the trip. It can be a beautiful state with plenty of breathtaking views, but nature will get to you if you are not prepared. Packing delicious and nutritious snacks are a great way to keep your energy up during a good long hike. Things like dried mango will go down easy and they are lighter than the real thing.
Remember to bring lots of sunscreen and a great hat that will keep your head cool. I personally love wasabi peas as they have a good amount of carbohydrates and the benefits of vegetables. Plus they taste great. Wearing the right clothes can also make all the difference. You could be comfortable and cool or you could get dangerously dehydrated if you wear the wrong outfit.
One trick I learned was to pack a bag of chocolate covered espresso beans. I know it seems a little odd, but the chocolate is a great mid-day treat for everyone around you and the espresso beans give you a little caffeine that can go a long way when your almost to the top. So get out there and have some healthy and safe fun.
