My mother really doesn’t understand me at all. I explained to her that I needed a really nice prom dress and she pointed me towards a sale with bridesmaid dresses under $100. I think she imagines that I am just this young baby not a young lady who really wants to show off her best assets. I have been looking myself at some of the clearance prom dresses but because my mum has to pay for it, she will want to see it first. This means that it will have to be something conservative and no doubt she will only like the baby pink puff ball skirt type dresses when I would rather have something slinky and tight fitting to show off my curves as well as being low cut to attract the boys. I am hoping that if I show her a range of inexpensive prom dresses that I like, then she will choose one of those because they are a good price and not mind too much if it is not the sort of style that she would have chosen herself. I think she assumes if she likes something then I will and obviously that is not the case.
